A very high quality goose foie gras mi cuit prepared by Edouard Artzner foie gras specialists in Strasbourg – presented in one single serving 40g slices makes a luxury starter for one. Overall, the taste and texture are just superb for anyone who enjoys foie gras.
Simply open one sleeve, run around the rim with a knife, and gently push, and your foie gras slice will easily come out.
Foie gras mi cuit has a slightly fuller flavour than the fully preserved foie gras, which some connoisseurs prefer.
If you want to enjoy foie gras at it’s very best, we recommend enjoying it cool (remove from fridge 5-10 minutes prior to serving) on some finely sliced and lightly toasted bread with either salt and pepper or a sauternes wine jelly or fig jam.
