We have got a small special delivery of this rather wonderful Golden Caviar. It comes from a stock of albino Sterlet sturgeon from a farm in Italy.
It is lovely golden yellow in colour making it visually unusual and very different to any other type of caviar, but it tastes really very good.
The flavour differs to our “black” caviars – it has a very pleasant texture, is a little less creamy than many of our caviars with a very pleasant saline flavour of the sea, which lingers long on the palate. And is usually the case with good caviar, it left us in a good mood after trying it!
If you enjoy caviar, this is worth a try, not least because it is so different!
