We have featured the Gilber “Panettone Piemontese” for over a decade now and we feel these are some of the best quality artisanal panettone in the UK.
Gilber are a well-known artisanal producer, and their Panettone are superb (the aroma hits you when you open the outer wrapping) – very fresh, moist, filled with candied fruits and have a very pleasant flavour – the outside is glazed with whole nuts and almonds.
Perfect to enjoy with tea or coffee and also very popular to send as fine food gifts.
As an alternative use, these panettone will make the best bread and butter pudding you have tried!
