A delicacy from South West France, which is very similar in flavour and texture to the more well know duck confit.
Whole duck gizzards (gesiers de canard) which are cooked and preserved in duck fat.
To enjoy open jar, place them in a frying pan, heat them gently until golden brown – serve with either roast potatoes or a side salad.
Serves two as a starter or one as a main.
Prepared for us by Castaing in the Landes region of South West France.

Storage:
Store in a cupboard up to 3 years. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.
