A very high quality duck foie gras entier (the best grade available) prepared for us by Castaing foie gras specialists in the Landes region of South West France.
The grade of foie gras used, the seasoning and preparation all make for an exceptional and memorable duck foie gras.
Castaing, our foie gras supplier, supply “La Grande Epicerie” in Paris (the French version of our Harrods or Fortnum’s) and this foie gras is as good as you will find.
Delicious served in slices, cool, either just as it is on lightly toasted bread, with a little salt & pepper, or with a fig jam or sauternes wine jelly.
